Lübeck, May 2025 – On May 1, 2025, Ian Fischer took over the position of second Executive Director at CREMER ERZKONTOR. He takes over the business areas from Roberto Wurst, who left the company in January 2025. Together with Executive Director Nils Fleig, Ian Fischer will help shape the successful further development of the company.

“With Ian Fischer, we are gaining an experienced colleague from our own ranks for the Executive Board who knows the company and our business inside out,” says Nils Fleig, Executive Director of CREMER ERZKONTOR. “He has been part of our management team for several years and has made a significant contribution to the development and successful positioning of our chemicals division. In his new role, Ian Fischer brings important impetus for the future.”

Ian Fischer has been with CREMER ERZKONTOR for seven years. During this time, he has held various management positions, including Managing Director of the national subsidiary in Mexico and, most recently, Head of Division Chemicals. He has strategically advanced both the company’s presence on the Latin American market and its global chemicals business, thus successfully developing a key pillar of the company’s business. Before joining CREMER ERZKONTOR, Ian Fischer spent ten years at BdV Behrens GmbH, where his roles included managing the company’s offices in Brazil and Panama. His extensive international experience, strong leadership skills and entrepreneurial commitment make him the ideal choice for this key position.
