We are your business partner for your dual studies in Business Administration (Bachelor of Arts) with a focus on Trade or Logistics Management.
Although you choose a major field of study, you will still get to know all areas of CREMER ERZKONTOR, so by the end of your studies you will be familiar with how everything is interrelated and be familiar with the links between the various departments and divisions.
During your studies, you will work on exciting projects with us and can contribute your own ideas. True to our motto: Rethink the world of raw materials. Along with us!
In addition, we attach particular importance to the individual support provided by our training manager Lea and our training mentors.
The fun factor is important, too: we organize group excursions and educational trips, for example. We also arrange after-work meet-ups for young professionals and for all other colleagues.
I liked the open, personal and friendly style of the application process, so I felt very comfortable right from the start and quickly established a personal connection to the company.
What I like about CREMER ERZKONTOR is that the company has the ambition to constantly develop and improve and is not afraid of change – in fact it actively promotes change.
I find the diverse product range and the numerous industries that we supply with our raw materials particularly fascinating, especially since they’re to be found all over the world, so you can gain a lot of experience in this context.
The company has been in the raw materials industry for more than a hundred years, so it has longstanding experience and expertise from which you can learn a lot as a student and get a very good education.
I work at ERZKONTOR from Monday to Wednesday and I’m at university for the rest of the week, which means that theory and practice are very closely linked, but they don’t overlap.
After I get to the office in the morning, the first thing I do is check my mails and get started with my work. After a brief chat with colleagues over coffee, I process transport orders, get in contact with forwarders and warehouse keepers, request freight for the material and attend meetings to talk about things that are happening now and in the future.
Afterwards, I meet up with my colleagues for lunch break at the bakery or at one of the many nearby restaurants.
The working environment is very easy-going: we’re all on first-name terms and we do a lot together as colleagues, which makes working together a lot of fun, too.
After the break, I then do the apprentice tasks such as the courier service – in addition to my regular work. I usually finish off the working day with my colleagues.
I really enjoy facing new challenges and tasks every day and tackling them with my colleagues. So things never get boring and every day is different.
This includes the variety and diversity of our products – it’s actually very interesting to see which day-to-day objects they can be found in.
What I also like about my job is the proximity to international customers and the close cooperation with forwarders all over the world.
I’m particularly happy about the great colleagues I have: they welcomed me into team right from the very first moment and I have lots of fun with them every day at work as well at regular after-work events, such as at Hansa Park or at restaurants.
Future-oriented. Teamwork. Versatile.
