We are your business partner for your dual studies in Business Administration (Bachelor of Arts) with a focus on Trade or Logistics Management.
Although you choose a major field of study, you will still get to know all areas of CREMER ERZKONTOR, so by the end of your studies you will be familiar with how everything is interrelated and be familiar with the links between the various departments and divisions.
During your studies, you will work on exciting projects with us and can contribute your own ideas. True to our motto: Rethink the world of raw materials. Along with us!
In addition, we attach particular importance to the individual support provided by our training manager Lea and our training mentors.
The fun factor is important, too: we organize group excursions and educational trips, for example. We also arrange after-work meet-ups for young professionals and for all other colleagues.
During the application process, I experienced the company's open, personal, and friendly manner, which made me feel immediately at ease and quickly established a connection with CREMER ERZKONTOR.
I am enthusiastic about the company's constant striving to develop further and actively embrace change. I find the diverse product portfolio and the various industries we supply with our raw materials worldwide particularly exciting. This allows you to not only gain professional experience, but also gain insights into international markets and cultures. With over 110 years of experience in the raw materials industry, CREMER ERZKONTOR has enormous expertise and competence. As a student, you benefit enormously from this and get a very good education.
I work at ERZKONTOR from Wednesday to Friday and spend the rest of the week at university – this allows me to combine theory and practice perfectly without them overlapping. My daily work routine is very individual and varies depending on the department I am placed in. After arriving at the office in the morning, the first thing I do is check my emails. After a quick chat with my colleagues while getting coffee, I process customer inquiries, contact our suppliers and international colleagues, request freight quotes for materials, and discuss current and future projects in meetings. I particularly appreciate that I can not only deepen my knowledge in each department, but also learn about completely new topics and work with different people. We often spend our lunch break together - whether at the bakery, in a restaurant, or simply chatting casually in the office.
The working environment is personal and open - we are all on a first-name basis and also do a lot together outside of work; for example, at our afterwork get togethers. This makes working together really fun!
I really enjoy facing new challenges and tasks every day and tackling them together with my colleagues. That way, it never gets boring, and every day is different.
This also includes the variety and diversity of our products, and it's interesting to see how they can be found in everyday objects.
I also like the proximity to international customers and the close cooperation with partners from all over the world.
A big plus is the support from our trainee mentors and the regular feedback. This allows me to continuously develop not only professionally but also personally – and I can already see how much the dual study program is helping me advance.
Future-oriented. Teamwork. Versatile.
